Olivier Verdier was born in Pézenas in the South of France. His first taste of the restaurant industry came at age 13, when he worked a summer job at L'Auberge de la Tour Valros. He followed this with four years of Restaurant, Business, and Cooking School, before taking a job at La Presqu'île, a two Macaron Michelin Restaurant in Cassis.
Eager for new experiences, Olivier moved to the US in 2006. Over the years, he deepened his understanding of the New York City restaurant scene with positions at Keith McNally's Morandi and A Voce before opening his own establishment.
Olivier has brought to life his vision for a laid-back French Bistro with Spanish and Italian influences. The menu reflects his South-of-France roots and diverse professional experiences.
